Email Template

Manage email templates for email marketing activities.

Add Email Template

  1. 1. Click on the Email Template tab then click Add Template link.
  2. 2. Fill in the necessary info for the following fields:
    • Name
      Specify any name that will identify the email template from other email templates.
    • Category
      Arrange email templates based on content.
    • From
      Type the email address of the sender. You may also put the display name. This is a required field.
    • To
      Type %{email} to display the email address of the sender.
    • Subject
      Type a subject line that best describes that content of the template.
    • Content Type
      Specify the content type to customize your template. Example: text/html will send your HTML email template in both text and html formats.
    • Extra Header
      Add other extra headers aside from default.
    • Body
      Type the message of the email that you will be sending out as broadcast email or auto responder.

    *You can customize your message and make it more personal by using different variables.


    First name -> fname
    Last name -> lname
    Email Address -> email
    Address -> address
    City -> city
    State -> state
    Zip Code -> zip
    Country -> country
    A1-A10 -> a1 -a10 **

    Example: "Hi %{fname}". This line will show the first names of your mailing list. You can use the variable in the From, Subject and Body of your message.

    ** A1-A10 are the optional variables that allows you to customize your messages. You can assign any value for these variables. Read Optional Variables [link].

  3. Click the Add button.
  4. To go back to Email Template Menu, just click Close button.

Edit Email Template

  1. Click Email Template tab.
  2. Click the name of the category to list all email templates under that category. Click Show All to list all categories and its templates.
  3. Click the name of the email template to edit. This will show you current settings for that particular email template.
  4. Change or edit any entries you want to change and click Save button.
  5. To go back to Email Template Menu, just click Close button.

Delete Email Template

  1. Click Email Template tab.
  2. Click the name of the category to list all email templates under that category. Click Show All to list all categories and its templates.
  3. Click the name of the email template to delete. This will show you current settings for that particular email template.
  4. Click Delete button to remove email template.
