Email Attendant

Setup automatic responders for your POP3 email accounts.

Add Auto Responder

  1. Click on Email Attendant tab then click Add Responder.
    Fill in the necessary info for the following fields:
    • Name
      Specify any name that will identify the auto responder from other auto responders.
    • Category
      Arrange auto responders based on content.
    • List
      Select the mailing list that you want to send the message.
    • Status
      Active - Auto responder server enabled
      Offline - Auto responder server disabled
      Disabled by System - disabled by the system due to configuration error.
  2. Click the Add button.
  3. To go back Auto Responder Menu, just click Close button.
  4. Click the name of the category to show list of auto responders under that category or click Show All to list all categories and its templates.
  5. Click Bind Email Template link, which is right next to the auto responder name that you have just added.
  6. Select the name of the email template that you want to use.
  7. Select the template type

    Type 1 - Specific list of days from the received date on which you want to reply
    Example: To send message the day after receiving the email, type "1".

    Type 2 - Recurring based on days of week and month.


    Example 1: To send message on Christmas Day, select 25 in the Days of the Month then select DEC.

    Example 2: To send messages every 1st day of the month, select 1 in the Days of the Month then click Select All to select all months.

  8. Type the Binding Name then click the Verify button.
  9. Click Bind POP3 Account.
  10. Select the POP3 Account from the list then click Bind POP3 Account button.
  11. To go back to Auto Responder Menu, click Close.

Edit Auto Responder

  1. Click on Email Attendant tab then click Add Responder.
  2. Click the name of the category to show list of auto responders under that category.
  3. You can view current settings by clicking on the auto responder name or edit link. You can also just click Bind Email Template and Bind POP Account links, which are right next to the auto responder name.

Delete Auto Responder

  1. Click on the Email Attendant tab then click Add Responder.
  2. Click the name of the category to show list of auto responders under that category.
    You can view current settings by clicking on the auto responder name or edit link.
  3. Click the delete button to remove the auto responder.
  4. * To delete just the pop3 binding or email template binding, simply click on the delete link right next to it.
